The Group’s Annual General Meeting will take place at Holy Trinity, Ripon, beginning at 2:30pm on Saturday, 28th March. The meeting will be chaired by our President, Janet Hutton, and the Agenda is:

- Chairman’s report for the 12 months ending 31st December 2025
- To receive an audited statement of accounts for the 12 months ended 31st December 2025
- To elect the officers for the year 2026-27
- To elect 5 members to the committee for the year 2026-27.
- To appoint accountants for the year 2026
- Any other relevant business

Following the formal meeting, Justin Scully, the General Manager of the Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Estate, will talk to us about his recent activities working with other National Trust Properties across Yorkshire, and his plans for the coming years.
Nominations for Membership of the Committee
Members are invited to nominate potential committee meetings, using the form already distributed to members. To be eligible, nominations using the enclosed form must reach the Secretary at least 14 days before the Annual General Meeting. Note that, in the event of insufficient nominations under items six and seven above, and in accordance with the Constitution, the Association would have to be dissolved. Current officers would remain in post until this had been completed.
In the event of more nominations being received than places on the Committee, an election would be held at the AGM with all paid-up members (since January 2026) eligible to vote.
